Why do you compete?
I guess it's the pressure of trying to see what tricks you can squeeze in a 1 minute run. It's really hard if you think about it. I enjoy meeting up with other riders from other comps, hang out. It is a competition but, we can still be down, skate and just have fun. Even though some of the road trips we go to are soooo long, it's cool to skate different parks from different states and meet other skaters.
Describe your style...
Heck, I don't even think I have a style. I'm always learning new tricks all the time, new variations and ways to skate. I guess my style is still progressing. We all have room for improvement no matter how 'good' we think we are.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
Um...not landing a kickflip, imagine that?

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
Well, the most interesting trip was the trip we took to KY in the summer. Had one of those big vans, a crew of like 10 in it all loaded up, PhenOm Skateboards CEO and 2 sales reps, had a tent at the event. It was a long drive, had to pick up a rider in Indiana and work our way down to Lexington, KY. We stayed with Micah Wu (PhenOm Skateboards Team rider). I'd like to thank them for putting up with us, it was tight of them to do so.
