Q&A - Personal

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Every Athlete has to train no matter how good they are , yeah i have to cope with all honors classes and schedules such as waking up at 5 in the morning , but the love and the compassion for your sport always pushes you to find that practice session.

Why do you like this sport?

I like Freestyle Skateboarding because its so creative , you can do anything you really feel like, even if its just flipping your board with you hand while your off the board.I also like it because it allows you to get away from the world , almost as if its you, your skateboard , and an empty room where you can achieve the impossible and break the biggest of barriers

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

My most embarressing moment is prob when i messed up on a kickflip in a game of skate again my friend..then a backside one 80 which is one of the tricks i do the most!

What inspires you to compete?

I havent really competed yet , but if i were to i guess just to have fun and meet people

Music?

Anything that really flows with skating , of course i listen to the Hardcore stuff when i get angry and just need to let out all my emotions, when im skating its mostly rythm and techno and life and flowing music.

FREESTYLE SKATEBOARDING

2009-2010

Pete Betti has been skateboarding for 2 years as of August 2006.As most would call him a freestyle freak because of his non-stop practice sessions of Summer 2007.Then and there he realized he couldnt stop skateboarding because of the constant ability of wanting to learn new things.Of course the down side was that he over skated and became very weak in his legs after that.The following  summer he started to concentrate on both freestyle and street disciplines.Today he freestyles on week nights after he has finished up with all his schoolwork and continues to practice and film new videos on his youtube, unknownskater121.On the weekends, he focuses more on street skateboarding when hes with his friends.Now he is currentely mainly sponsered by monster energy drinks and is on the 2 month shark sponsership for freestyle usa watches and does small freestyle presentations for Shops nearby.He can also be found on Myspace,Facebook and Occasionally on Freestylers United
