How I got started

I began racing motocross at the age of 12. I raced locally in District 34, District 6, District 13, District 29 and the N.E.S.C. In 1993, I began traveling to amateur nationals, including the Winter National Olympics, the RM Cup Challenge and Amateur SX races. I finished consistently inside the top 5 in the 125B class before I stopped racing in 1997.

SponsorHouse was a dream from the early days racing motocross growing up. With the help of the Internet, we figured out an easier way for athletes to connect with sponsors, friends, and fans online. RJ and I quit our jobs in 2001 to live in a tiny apartment and our cars while we traveled the country working with riders and meeting with companies. Now, five years later we have built the #1 community on the web to help all types of athletes promote themselves and find sponsors.

We've since expanded on the original concept to launch the Loop'd Network, which is a new sports community network that allows all athletes, fans, enthusiasts, companies and whoever to connect and interact around their favorite sports. If you haven't already, go out and explore all the happ's going on with Loop'd.

What do you like about action sports?
I`ve been involved with BMX, motocross, and other action sports since I was 6 years old. My involvement in the sports has changed over the years from being an athlete to helping athletes. To this day there is nothing better than perfect dirt, a perfectly groomed track, or perfect 4-5` surf. I hope that our efforts help to advance the future of our sports.

Background Info
I`m 30 years old and have been involved with motocross and action sports for over 20 years. I love to compete and innovate new stuff. I grew up racing motocross for almost 10 years. When I was 17 I started a local motocross team called Team Warwick as a way to find more sponsors for racing moto. Following my racing days I went to college then started a company called LAAS (Land Air Action Sports). During that time, I created another small motocross team (Team LAAS/Factory Connection) so we could help out two local up and coming riders named Ryan and Justin Tuerck. LAAS also helped out a couple other local riders...one being Ryan Mills who was 12 at the time and later turned pro now riding for the Rockstar Suzuki team. The LAAS concept helped create the concept for SponsorHouse, which I`ve devoted my life to ever since. Business and action sports are my life now...
