I live to skate, it's what I do every chance I get. I love it, Here's why:
I'm not that good at anything else (including school)
I love the satisfaction I get when I land a really hard trick.
I love the attention I get when I skate.
I love travelling around and meeting new people and making new friends.
I love the challenge of skating new places and learning new tricks.
I love the feeling of flying through the air like a bird.
I love promoting my sponsors.
I love getting free skate stuff.
The only thing I don't like is getting hurt, but I'll live with a bit of that if it means I can have my dream of becoming a pro vert skater. I'll even relocate to The States if that's what it takes!
I'm 11½ years old now (July 2009) and live in the North Of England UK. I have been skating seriously for nearly 2 years now.
I train 4 times a week and these days most of that is in vert ramps.
I couldn't do all I do without the constant support of my family. Many thanks to my dad, mum and little brother david for all your ongoing support and encouragement - you all rock.
