How's Life Treating You?

besides the financial struggles of being self employed and trying to make a carrier out of BJJ, life could not be better. I just got married to a beautiful and very supportive women who i love. I have nothing to complain about, i wake up every day smiling and excited to get up and do what i do.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 23 recently married and happy. i am a proud puerto rican who is obsessed with BJJ. if i am not training i am thinking about it or doing something that benifits me for BJJ. I live in Maryland outside of baltimore, with my wife and two very large and awesome dogs.

I was trying out boxing at a gym and one day i saw a sign for BJJ and decided to give it a shot. i fell in love with it immediately and never stoped.

List your competitive highlights:

(only listing competitons starting when i recieved my purple belt in march of 2009)

What are you planning for next season?

the 2010 year should be a big one for me. i will have my first MMA fight at the begining of the year. Then i will start training for Pan Ams and Worlds. My goal is to win both of those events and have a good showing in the absolute. Before and after the Pan Ams and Worlds i will be going to as many tournaments as possible.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest accomplishment has been achieving my purple belt in only 3 years of training and then opening my own academy that is becoming more and more succesful every day.
